Only what it needs to be and no more

What a gift it was finding this application. I have long bemoaned the fact that we dont have something simple and effective in the way that, say, MS Word 95 was. More features does not equal "better," and can truly interfere with the writers ability to communicate.

I give Write 2 high marks. Have not experienced the problems other reviewers have. Its a simple, friendly interface, and it will generate documents that are more complicated than anything I will ever need. A word processing application should be a tool. A good tool doesnt remind you of its presence; it helps you do the job and you shouldnt have to think about the tool. After the nightmare of having to use MS Word professionally and deal with all of its bizarre "features," Write 2 is liberating.
